First Aid/CPR/AED

The primary purpose of the ARC First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed. Lifeguarding

The primary purpose of the ARC Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care fro breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. This program offers a choice of Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience. Wilderness and Remote First Aid

The primary purpose of the ARC Wilderness and Remote First Aid course is to provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not heave immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response, such as wilderness and remote environments, including urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. Must be at least 14 years of age to take this course. 

          Class Offerings: Monday, July 20 - Friday, July 24: 3:00pm-6:00pm each day                                                                                    Cost: $65 resident/$70 non-resident
